Imogen Bliss is a local singer and multi-instrumentalist. She will be performing a cycle of songs from various places and times, all of which focus on nature and the earth as a direct celebration of the spark of divinity at the heart of life. The 12th century abbess and theologian Hildegard von Bingen saw 'viriditas' as a symbol for life force and as a reflection of the Divine.  Many traditions of music celebrate the divine within nature in song.
